Max Mania Update
Our little Man is growing up too fast :-(
Last Tuesday night (4/1/05) he managed to roll over for the first time from his back to his front. It was quite funny because Dee was trying to put him to sleep and she called me in to see that he had wriggled around 90 degrees and onto his side in the cot. We watched him for a while and eventually he dropped over onto his tummy and popped up on his arms with the biggest smile! What a time to start his gymnastics.
The next day he rolled over several times and I managed to video his last oned when I got home from work. It's so cute seeing his little smile when he manages to roll over and onto his tummy.
On Sunday we gave him a cup of water to try. He was straining forward with his lips out to get the cup in his mouth! He even managed to swallow some of the water but he needed a change afterwards.
Last night we also gave hims his first solids (Farex Baby Rice mixed with expressed milk). What a step! At this stage he's mainly keen to get the spoon in his mouth to chew on but he's swallowing a little bit of it.
I certainly have mixed feelings as he seems to be growing up quickly now and I'm probably worried about how much more hassle solid food is when compared to breast milk (not factoring in the fact that Dee has to sit there to do it).
