Max Update
I thought it was time I put an update about Max on the site. He's doing very well our little man and he's into Week 9, so probably time we make the next mental shift and start to think of his age in months. It's funny how the time scale changes as he gets older. We kept counting in days until about 30 days which is when we moved to weeks. Now after 8 weeks it's time to think of him as being 2 months old!
He's sleeping very well at night and last Sunday slept from 8pm (last feed at 5pm) until 5am! We were a bit shocked! Unfortunately, he then had one of his worst days with lots of wind and lots of crying until he collapsed into bed that night. He's pretty much down to one feed between about 6pm and 6am so that's great.
Weight wise he's around 5kg now and has moved up to the next nappy size (4-8kg). Some of you are probably wondering about me by now but these are the little milestones you enjoy with kids :-)
The other big step he's made is into his room in a cot. It's quite amusing as he looks sooo small in there. He only takes up about a quarter of the length of it! We have a baby monitor in there but since we have his room open at night you can hear him anyway.
He's starting to really enjoy his baths and is even starting to kick his legs around which is going to end up in a big splash soon. Here he is after this evening's bath:
